CD: Circle

Ganga's sixth album release 'Circle' which is actually a six track EP is an eclectic mixture of carefully selected ethnic flavours, dubby bass grooves, Balearic and electric guitars, evocative vocals, beautiful strings and crisp electronica - encapsulating the sound that over the years has become Ganga's trademark.
Since the debut on Music For Dreams in 2004, Ganga's chilled mark on the global map of electronic downtempo and midtempo has continued to grow, and today Ganga's tracks are featured on more than 150 compilation CDs and DVDs worldwide.
As is often the case for a Ganga album,'Circle' features great vocal and musical performances from the far corners of the world.
In short, 'Circle' is a very melodic and dubby experience, with lots of guitar and bass dubs with hints to both an ethnic take on Thievery Corporation and/or The Orb, hypnotic vibes in general and of course a big dubby cinematic nod to Erik Satie and J.S. Bach.
